My first problem was the < and > characters which broke out of the textarea field as soon as tag was encountered, so I fixed that with a simple convertchars database. But I still have the problem of getting the high ASCII characters to display properly inside the textarea field ...Right now I'm getting a lot of square boxes which apparently represent characters that cannot be displayed in the current font face, but I'm also getting things like and and displayed inside the textarea field, and I have to avoid these things as well if I'm going to be able to rely on people to copy the text from this field and paste it into a browser to create their own encrypted template files.Does anyone know how to insure that the actual characters which are created inside an [encrypt] context will be displayed properly inside a textarea field -- so the visitor can copy the text from this field and paste it into a blank text file, and still retain the actual, original character data that webdna created and placed into the textarea field in the first place?Sorry, but I don't know enough about this issue to know what to do next, or even if it is possible to do anything about this.Is there anything about the browser settings that may prevent this from working properly in all situations? Because if there is, I think I should just forget about this technique and instead just go back to manually delivering these files ... -- Sincerely, Kenneth Grome ------------------------------------------------------------- My programmers will write WebDNA code for you at $27 an hour! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
