I'm doing a callcenter or a system that allows for ourcustomer server or a call center to place orders in a secured area.Since it isn't in the main shopping area, I've had to use the file= inall the cart tools. I was hoping the path would pick up the same formula.db that I have in the root. From you suggestion, this apparently is not the way it works. Is the asnwer then creating a duplicate formulas.db in the subdirectory where the callcenter is?I guess in theory, this might work.> > BTW, the _only_ time the formulas.db file comes into play is when an > item is added to the cart, via the command ?add or [addlineitem]. However, sincethe issue was brough up... the docs are mis-leading on this. It was confusing when I first was doing all this.Scott, Here is a snippet from SetLineItem;---[SetLineItem Parameters]values[/SetLineItem]Changes a line item in a shopping cart.To change a line item in a visitor's shopping cart, put a SetLineItem context into a template (alternately, you may use the ShowCart command from a URL or a FORM). Whenever WebDNA encounters a SetLineItem context, it opens the shopping cart file and changes values in a line item (identified by its index). The item's quantity, textA-E, and cart header fields are all changeable. You can use a different price by creating a Formulas.db database.---There is a couple issue here I believe. In WebDNA5 the textA-E fields have been expanded.. Also, from the wording above, it appears that the formulas.db is enacted during a setlineitem.Donovan> > John> -------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
