I am not sure this is true. The webserver has settings for commonly used files and caching. Again, avoiding the issue of some files not being seen as modified by the webserver and this cause problems due to caching...Despite the file call is ultimately handled by the webserver, the call originates from WebCat - through the server...So while what you are saying is potentially true... I wouldn't want to wager as to how each platform, webserver, and ultimately cache settings would react (if you don't have webcat set to cache templates). It would make for some interesting testing regarding File I/O and ultimately perfomance in general. So as a matter of practice (admittedly just speaking for ourselves), we do not use, or try very hard not to, includes inside lopping contexts... Founditems, loops, listwords, etc.YMMV Alex Alex J McCombie New World Media Chief Information Officer Box 124 888/892.6379 MartVille, NY 13111 Alex@NewWorldMedia.com http://OurClients.comInterface Designer WebDNA Programmer Database Designer------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
