I'm sorry, I just have to say one thing: As a mac user (all my life) I have to laugh at the statement "so typically blind of the ramifications" and referring to Apple's "bonehead stunts". The fact is that I've been fighting with MS (built-in and most intentional) compatibility problems and issues all my life.
