Things are seriously not working, WebSTAR V gets into a state where is is crashing every two or three seconds! WebSTAR tech support looked at the crash log I sent them and said that the problems are coming from the WebCatalog plugin. I haven't got in touch with WebDNA tech support yet but until I hear from them I'm trying to go through things myself. One of the things I'm wondering about is whether I need to do anything about fixing line endings in files that came from Mac OS 9 -- can anyone tell me whether it makes a difference or not. Can WebDNA on Mac OS X handle either form of line ending or not? Or perhaps someone can answer the bigger question, why would the WebCatalog plugin be causing WebSTAR to crash so badly? It seemed to work fairly well on the previous setup, although one reason I'm wanting to upgrade is to get away from the WebSTAR 4 slapper SSL problem that I assumed was responsible for mucho crashes there. But at least it wasn't causing WebSTAR to crash every couple of seconds. -- Dana ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
