The registration templates are encrypted, as they contain our UPS developers key, and encryption was required by UPS. But the StoreBuilder templates that actually use the UPS XML tools are not encrypted, so you can use those as a guide. Or just use the StoreBuilder templates as they are. On a side note, those templates were delveloped pre 5.0, so they do not make use of the new WebDNA XML tags to parse the XML UPS results. But the TCPConnect/Send code to send XML data is still applicable. Here are the templtes to reference: in MASTER_STORE directory... tracking.inc ship_options.inc the admin/parse_tag.inc file is used to parse the UPS XML results. However, if you are using WebDNA 5.0, this could be re-written to use the new XML WebDNA tags. Which would simplify the code tremendously. -----Original Message----- From: Velma Kahn To: WebDNA-Talk@talk.smithmicro.com Sent: 7/30/03 11:46 AM Subject: Fwd: XML - USPS Lookups - UPS Lookups Anybody have an idea of how one submits an XML request via TCPConnect, to save me hours or days of blathering around trying to figure out where to get started? :-) Velma >Date: Mon, 28 Jul 2003 16:41:47 -0400 >To: WebDNA-Talk@talk.smithmicro.com >From: Velma Kahn >Subject: XML - USPS Lookups - UPS Lookups > >I want to implement real time UPS & USPS lookups for some of my sites. > >I searched the talk-list archive, and couldn't make much out of what was >there. > >I think I can follow both the UPS and USPS documentation, although if >anyone would care to share a working example, that would be great.
