texte = oops, I hit send accidentally before I finished... I think that the way to use one set of databases and have access to them from all your sites is by using symbolic links. This is similar to what you were trying to do with aliases, but my guess is that you were creating the aliases in the Finder, which will not work. There are 2 types of aliases under OS X the first kind are the ones created in the finder interface, this do not work properly. The second kind are symbolic links which are accessed through the terminal application. The general format of the command is: ln -s /fullpath/RealFolderName /fullpath/aliasFolderName Note: this can be done as root or the actual user as long as they have permission to both the source and destination. Maybe someone else can confirm that this is right approach, but I *think* it is what you want.
