texte = you see... i just finished restructuring the database of a large web site and created a new front end for users. but the customer went into the old admin pages i created for them 6 months ago and started attempting to change things. (i'm still working on a version 2 of the admin pages)before i knew it they had duplicated records and deleted the SKUs of records that were in the database. so i actually had 11 records duplicated at least 3 times each. all of the duplications were the same, and all of them were without SKUs.after yelling at the customer for letting there new employee dick around i had to figure out how to save a single record from each set, but delete the rest. it would be easy if i could just turn the system off, download the database, make the edits by hand and then reupload. but i could not.thus my problem. thankfully the [replace&max=1] does work and i got the problem solved. and it actually did not matter how many parameters i used in the replace syntax either.interesting eh? stupid customers.mattAndrew Simpson wrote:>ah, okay.
