numero = 53920

texte = Looks like only half of them are being replaced, more or less. Looks very similar to the results ofa failure to recursively search and replace ... although this kind of search should not be limited by a recursion failure because it's not a recursive search anyways, right? A (stupid looking but still functional) work-around would be to do something like this: [text]tart=yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy1430yyyyy32.5yyyyyy49yyyyyyNWyyyyy015yyyyyynbspyyy[/text] [loop start=1&end=1000] [text]tart=[grep search=yy&replace=y][tart][/grep][/text] [/loop] [text]tart=[grep search=y&replace=x][tart][/grep][/text] .... but you already know this I'm sure ... :) >They(SMSI) got grepping issues. > >C'mon we need this stuff working for all versions!!!!! > >[text]tart=[grep search=y&replace= >]yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy1430yyyyy32.5yyyyyy49yyyyyyNWyyyyy015yyyyyynbspyyy[/grep][/text] > >[grep search= +&replace=x][tart][/grep]] > > >this gets me: > >xxxxxxxx1430xx 32.5xxx49xxxNWxx 015xxxnbspx > >On Nov 11, 2003, at 12:15 AM, Stuart Tremain wrote: > >>Bob >> >>That's what I thought but it won't work for me :( > > >------------------------------------------------------------- >This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to > the mailing list . >To unsubscribe, E-mail to: >To switch to the DIGEST mode, E-mail to > >Web Archive of this list is at: http://webdna.smithmicro.com/ -- Sincerely, Kenneth Grome ------------------------------------------------------------- Outsource your WebDNA programming for $18 an hour or less! ------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
