texte = >is a-z first or numeric first or what? You cannot assume that webdna is going to sort in ascii order, but you can figure out the way it actually sorts yourself. Try something like this and review your results: [search db=xxx.db&neskudatarq=[blank]&as[fieldname]sort=1&allhit=1] Don't forget, records beginning with a blank space will be sorted at or near the top of the list even though those blank spaces do *not* show up when displayed on your page.
