texte = Actually, what I have been considering is a new WebDNA admin pref that reads something like: eCommerce use SQL TRUE/FALSE If set to true, all existing WebDNA ecommerce tags and contexts (including [cart]) would use a SQL database (using our new native SQL code). Each sandbox would have its own setting. Each store would have its own SQL conf file for SQL settings; host, username, password, database, etc... Or perhaps just a reference to a WebDNA global registered SQL database, that is automatically 'mounted' when WebDNA starts up. The goal being that no template changes would be required to switch to SQL for the ecommerce stuff. -----Original Message----- From: Bob Minor [mailto:bob@cybermill.com] Sent: Tuesday, November 25, 2003 3:54 PM To: WebDNA Talk Subject: What would be sweet is New context tags that work with sql. Can you get this done by 2 weeks before SuperBowl? I may have 2 teams on the ticket and the volume will require I have load balancing and I would love to have it all tie into a sql database. ;) PS I will deal with creating the database!
