I know I left some folks hanging there but I decided I just had to figure it out on my own since it was too hard for me explain (as I had a hard time understanding it all myself). I've finally hacked it utilizing only one search (code at bottom of my test page). I actually know where you guys were heading and I'm sure that would have worked also after some tweaking. Ronald actually called me on the phone (paying long distance I'm sure) to get the details clearer. The part I explained to him, and consequently, which would have been needed to add to Gary's idea, is that, I always needed 4 results to populate the field, even if not another product of the same catagory existed, or the same for Brand and the same for both brand and category. Ron then sent me a template which might have done just that.. I didn't look at it as I was in the middle of figuring it out and wasn't ready to give up yet ;-) But my thanks goes out to him for taking the extra time to help me. Even though he seems to like to slam me on the list ;-), he's helped me a couple of times (one time in particular) that I do appreciate. Anyway, my idea, populates rightly found results in a random order which is what I was looking for. So, like I said, Sorry for the confussion and thanks for the efforts ("efforts" spelled right this time ;-). Donovan -- =o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o DONOVAN D.
