texte = Thanks for the suggestions. It's not a server time zone issue (it's a threehour lag that I'm well aware of).I don't know about what windows reports because I don't have physical accessto the machine. What I do know is that the folder is updated with a new order so the modifytime should be updated too. Here's an example from this morning:Each admin page has a navigation bar that should show the modify time of theOrders folder so I know when the last order was made. It's actually theidentical code on each page for the navbar, so it should work nodifferently. I pulled the main admin page to check activity on the site around 7am. Ialso checked the admin page showing how many browsers actually registeredtoday. On each of these two pages (which had data from around 7am) showsthe Orders folder modify time as 7pm yesterday (my time/server 4pm).When I clicked on the admin page that shows the actual orders, I got acomplete listing of orders (it actually does a listfiles for orders in theOrders folder so I know the Orders folders was updated). There was an orderplaced at 22:15 yesterday. That's 1:15am where I am.Why didn't the modify time for the Orders folder show that in the two adminpages. Of course the page that shows the orders has the same navbar code toreveal the modify time of the Orders folder. It was correct when viewed(server time 22:15 yesterday).Does this have to do with Windows caching the modify time or withWebCatalog? It's aggravating because the page that shows the actual orderstakes a while to generate. I haven't tried to see what happens if I FTPinto the server first, although that might confirm a Windows caching issueif WebCatalog is then updated on the next admin page view.Billon 12/16/03 6:47 PM, Brian Fries at webdna@brainscansoftware.com wrote:> Does the folder modification time differ from what Windows reports?
