We built a shell script like this: #!/bin/sh /usr/bin/osascript /Library/WebServer/Documents/website/applescript_kick "/usr/bin/osascript" is the full path to your osascript. "/Library/WebServer/Documents/planet/applescript_kick" is the path to the apple script. The applescript for this step is quite simple: -- Start applescript -- tell application "Rumpus 3.0.1 (OS X)" reload user database end tell -- End AppleScript -- Then when we need this we called it with the [shell] context. Hope that helps. RonnyMc ps: Mac Certain that all files have UNIX style carriage returns or it does not work. This cost me several hours when I made the shell script on my PC and uploaded to the OS X server. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Terry Wilson" To: "WebDNA Talk" Sent: Friday, January 09, 2004 8:06 AM Subject: OSX Applescripts -- Anyone? please? > Okay, I'm asking this a third time in the hopes that someone out > there can help me.
