Bug (feature) in v6 listfiles shows hidden files ...

texte = I have installed v6 on one of my WindowsXP computers. Webdna shows the hidden "Thumbs.db" operating system file when I use listfiles..... and it *still* shows these hidden files when I use "showinvisibles=F" in the listfiles tag. Why?Yes there's a work-around to this particular problem: Put a nested hideif inside the listfiles context to make it stop showing his particular hidden file ... and then create my own home-grown index numbering system to replace the index tag in listfiles so I can get the proper index numbers on the files I want to display. But this does not solve the problem of hiding OTHER hidden OS files, it is only a viable work-around when you know the names of the hidden files the OS will create and place into your folders ... which means it's always going to be a problem with a PITA work-around until SMSI actually fixes it properly. This same problem existed in the MacOS years ago, so I cannot understand why was it never fixed in Windows when it was already dealt with in the MacOS.Anyone have a clue why this is still an issue, or when SMSI will finally fix this problem on all operating systems once and for all?-- Kenneth GromeWebDNA ProgrammerOutsource Service ProviderPhone: +6332 255-6591-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
