Re: DB Size - MAX
This WebDNA talk-list message is from 2004
It keeps the original formatting.
numero = 57074
interpreted = N
texte = I had an 80MB web log where I performed date based searched in WebDNA. It got a little sluggish because I didn't store the dates in the numerical format that has been recommended. I find date searching to be somewhat troublesome anyway, unless I search for a specific date and treat the field as text. Other than that, I've not come close to an upper limit, although, it'd be nice to know what it is.Bill-----Original Message-----From: Brian Boegershausen

No problems with it.The DB is searched and added to thousands of times everyday and as of a fewminutes ago has 214000 records in it.My clients server is a Dell 84508 x 700mhz Xeon Processors8 gigs of RAMDual RAID5 SCSI HD setups.Running Win2k AdvWebDNA 4.51I was wondering what is the largest DB someone has had on their site and didthey ever have any problems.Lately I have been playing with the new SQL features of 6.0 on my own serverand have been very happy. This site is on a different server and does nothave 6.0, but I may see about upgrading my clients machine.Brian Boegershausen-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .To unsubscribe, E-mail to: To switch to the DIGEST mode, E-mail to Web Archive of this list is at: http://webdna.smithmicro.com/-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .To unsubscribe, E-mail to: To switch to the DIGEST mode, E-mail to Web Archive of this list is at: http://webdna.smithmicro.com/
