If you want to install WebDNA from an RPM, you must use the SMSI compatible O/S's; the install script is specifically tailored to each distro. If you are crazy, like me, you can extract the files from the RPM and do the install manually. ;) In general, WebDNA has to be compiled seperately for each distro (because of different choices made in the Apache configuration). I went through a process with SMSI to try and get WebDNA 6.x working under SuSE (now owned by Novell) and we were unsuccessful. The odd thing is that it works find under a custom compiled Apache 2.0.48 but not the official distro. FWIW, I like SuSE best [right now] and it will be in production sometime in the next couple of months (I'm playing server roulette this week plus we're installing a $250k SAN at two sites, so my time is a little scarce).
