I will manage the affiliate program and track referrals for both referrers and the ecommerce sites. Since I run the sites, I am effectively a broker between the affiliates and the sellers. I will need to provide some allowance for returns of merchandise. 2. Some ads will run on sellers who also act as affiliates (these will likely be text based links that I put on the sites), while other ads will be run on third party sites. This means that some accounts will be linked or the same as my sellers' accounts. There should be an easy way to link them. Can you tell me what the limits of the commission credit tracking are? You mentioned cookies. Although it can be worked around, I think most affiliates accept that restriction. Is there a referrer restriction or is the referrer tracked by id in the URL? Is there a javascript restriction? I think the ebay affiliate program sets out some restrictions on its affiliates payment. I'd like to stay close to something that's well known. I'd also like to make sure that the referring link appears on a page with a direct link to my site. I don't want to give credit for links that search engines don't recognize. People hide links with javascript and I want the credit for my page rank. What is the price of the code as-is and can I see it (at least a public part) in action?
