texte = Hi Everyone, I'm developing an advertising system that will record click throughs andpage views, and I need to get some feedback on the limitations ofdatabases with WebDNA. I'm currently running webdna 5 and Webstar onOSX. I'm not too worried about a table recording click throughs since itshould stay relatively small. But if I set up an append context to record a page view every time apage gets accessed/refreshed, will I get into performance issues withthe page loading or with people accessing other webDNA pages? We getover a million hits a month, so I'm looking at at least a millionrecords a month in a page views table. Will I have to set up some scripts to flush out the page views tableregularly or can I just let it continue to get bigger and bigger? Or should I not try to use webDNA at all for this, and instead find away to use the server log file? Thanks in advance to anyone who has time to respond.
