texte = I'm considering options for server upgrades in 05 and a g5 desktop is on the top of my list right now. I have a half cabinet at my colo facility so size is not a problem and I'm going to compile my own copy of Apache so OS X isn't a concern for me and I like the security updates that OS X client has. To me, those two facts mean I don't need to splurge the extra grand for an Xserve but maybe there's something I'm missing. I know a couple of you are currently running G5 Desktops as servers and I was just curious as to your impressions so far.
