Clearly, Google is not intending to fetch every link from the site; if they are doing that now, it is because this is a beta product and they messed up (or the OP had "next" links on their page). Google has pulled the beta so it is possible that they _did_ screw up and they are busy retooling. ------------------------------------------ John, They also prefetch based on an algorithm tag or no tag. In fact WA is reported as indicating time savings on lots and lots of sites but they don't have the prefetch tag installed. Thus, the presence of the tag might force a prefetch, but its absence does not preclude it. Google is big on the algorithm to predict when it should work.
