message forum question

numero = 62495
interpreted = N
texte = I've created a couple of decent ones similar to samples shown here in the talk list whenever the subject comes up... but none that look or act like in this screen capture: http://www.kwasi.com/forum.gif The closest off the shelf package I've seen that acts like the above screen capture sample is called "anyboard" available at http://www.netbula.com/anyboard/ Has anyone created a forum that might behave like this??? Most others out there now all have the same look and feel, neither of which is like my screen capture or "anyboard" I need to create a forum that would behave this way. Tricky part seems to be the tracking of messages and posts to previous posts and more sub-posts within the same thread and the indentation of each etc. My forums always have a "new post" and replys are tracked back to this "new post" by another unique ID. I then show all posts relevenant to the original ons sorted by date with the original post first, same as everyone else has done here. The method shown in the capture seems to have multiple levels of posts (for lack of a better phrase) all tracked back to the same original post. I think ThePubb had this look as option but that forum sorta seems to be unsupported even though the site is still up... I never get responses to emails sent. Plus I need all the code.... Any ideas or samples of available code appreciated.... lester ____________________________________________________ Sell on Yahoo! Auctions – no fees.
