texte = Paul, (I don't know anything about Storebuilder, so ignore this if it's not relevant.) I do something along these lines on one of my sites when I let the admin add a new record. They get a choice of adding a clean blank record and then fill it all in, or duping an existing one. For the dupe, I have them be on the record they're duping, but you could just as easily have them choose from a list and send that record's unique ID (Hmmm maybe I'll let them do it that way as well). Then, do a search to find the source record, and within the founditems, do a replace, and within that, a listfields with (the fieldnames wrapped in square brackets and interpret tags) = (the values wrapped in URL tags). Use Autonumber to set the unique field ID. For the inevitable fields that will be different (or why else would you dupe this?) you can precede the listfields with those values set to blank, or an incoming variable (they will override the same fieldnames that show later in the replace). Or just present the new record for editing on the next page and let the admin make changes there. For your related records, it depends on how they're related. If the product calls the color and size dbs, then that would automatically come along for the ride when you duped the record. If you were wondering if WebDNA had a [duplicaterecord] tag, and the answer is no.
