Line ending nuisance

texte = I'm going nuts over a line ending issue. I have a number of sendmail includes and discovered that if the include document is created from BBEdit right on the Mac itself, everything is fine (even though I edit the docs via ftp). But when I create a new empty doc via my FTP software (RBrowser) and write code and update via ftp, I get double returns. I would imagine this bloats regular html also; I just never noticed it. The line endings all show up as /r in BBEdit, a regular line break. The origin of the doc seems to be the issue, not the type of line break itself. Only when I put down the laptop, got my butt off the couch, and walked into the office and moused around on the server itself did I get a document that had single line endings. So, is there a way to retroactively fix the files that are misbehaving this way, using BBEdit or otherwise, without having to make new file, copy, paste, save, rename, etc.?WebCat 6iTools8OSX TigerBBEdit 8Thanks,Terry-- Terry Wilson | terry@terryfic.com | http://terryfic.comhttp://WhosComing.com - a simplified, affordable online reservation systemhttp://TightPods.com -- stylish protection for your laptop--------------------------------------------------------------------------Attitude is the only difference between ordeal and adventure.-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
