Have you every tried to get WebDNA running with Oracle? Or get We= bDNA running with other SQL Databases? ODBC is not the best to im= plement when you run under MacOS X. It works but it is just not s= o "out of the box" working. Call a stored procedure within Oracle= from WebDNA..... I can even talk about a "real debugger" for developers, that is c= ompletely missing. Also the Java tag does not work. Most of the J= ava code can not be used properly. What about integration to create PDF's on the fly, without a Java= hack or a PDF Server? ColdFusion and PHP both have those tools.=20= Also SAP Integration can be used with those tools. I think, WebDN= A is unfortunately a long way away from there. And even if they c= ome up with those features, which other languages have for ages,=20= then WebDNA is a one among others. Nowadays you don't get develop= ers working with your language just because it is easy and a vers= ion is free. Developer versions are available from anybody. The m= ost important part is that developers get the tools they need for= their job fast and easy. Just look at the communities of JSP, .N= ET, ColdFusion and PHP, just to name the main competitors. But, as I said in the past, I am not working for SMSI and they do= n't seam to listen when it comes to marketing. Many people on thi= s list have written many times about what can be done, to no avai= l.
