texte = Hello, Just wondering if anyone has created a double-blind email system using WebDNA? My thought is to have a db with the following: blindemail realemail the blind email would be the address at my domain, the realemail is of course their real email address. There would be another db to store a local copy of the messages as well (including headers for abuse purposes). I would use a variation of the pop checker code to log into the mail server, store the email in the appropriate other db, then create a new email using the realemail address associated with the blindemail address. Creating the new email is needed to prevent the original headers from revealing the realemail address and defeating the purpose of the system. The part that I think will be the most difficult is dealing with html formatted emails and attachments as there will also be an associated local site based messaging system tied to this. The html formatting can probably be addressed by the removehtml command. Attachments are another story. Anyone have any ideas on how to deal with attachments that might be sent via one of these double blind emails? As long as I can properly process the attachments, (they would be virus scanned on my mail server) I would then want to try and check to only allow image formats and delete any other type of file.
