The issue is not with what shows up in the editor, but what is submitted to the form action. FCKEditor likes to format the code it writes, and part of the formatting includes using CR/LB's to end each line of its code. Since HTML could care less about the CR/LF's, there is no need for them to be written to the database, which is why I am trying to remove them. Since WebDNA converts them automatically to vertical tabs, and I have my own use for vertical tabs, they are causing a conflict.
