We have experienced this off and on for several years. In our election system we experience a condition where the the connection does not release, then each builds on the previous one until CPU usage pegs and the system stops responding. Restarting resolves it in the short run, but it can often recur repeatedly in succession; sometimes it disappears for months then starts again. We have not been able to isolate why - and have fought this for several years.Check through the archives for some ideas. There was a thread a few months back that involved an engineer from SM and the date context (I think). There have been some patches that appeared to resolve the issue (1994 summer time frame), but it still occurs, although not as frequently.LarryOn May 17, 2006, at 1:26 PM, Allen Frye wrote:> Hi all,>> I posted a while ago about having problems with webdna taking up > 100% of> the cpu.
