However, I like what the inventor of ruby appeared to be shooting for, and I'm sure I will get into it at some point. I think it may work well for many quick real world needs... especially if you come from a Perl background apparently. Ultimately, I think it comes down to how comfortable one feels with any language that determines the results he/she can produce.
