texte = i have old UPS shipping code too. Seems the UPS server is too busy, or something, it just drops the ball a lot two things: 1) you need to send a browser type these days in the request( Well, it fixed it for me) 2) you have to ask a few times before you get a response I created a nifty little function that uses a caching database to see if the zip/weight/type was in the cache database and use those value if found, or if not, ask ups repeatedly until i get an answer, then cache the info so as to reduce the load on UPS for future rate quotes of that exact package. took about a day of coding to make the whole thing work as I recall.
