texte = I'm sending text from a form to ImageMagick to be converted into an image. Special characters like apostrophes, ampersands, etc break ImageMagick when sent in plaintext. The advice I got was that if the text was first converted to UTF-8, then it would all come through properly. In PHP there's a built-in way to convert text to UTF-8, but everything I'm doing is already built with WebDNA so I want to stick with that. What options do I have using WebDNA to convert an entire block of text into UTF-8 encoding?
