Deleting Cookie Problems

texte = For the longest time I've been setting my cookie with a domain of www.domainname.com and recently found out that people that were trying to log in as just domainname.com weren't getting in. I have since changed my code so domain=domainname.com (without the www.) so that the cookie will be set for any domainname.com address. My logoout code resets the cookie to a date in the past, thus deleting the cookie. I found that people who were already logged in with a www.domainname.com cookie couldn't log out when I changed the code to domainname.com, so I thought that adding two set cookie commands, one for www.domainname.com and one for domainname.com on the same logout page would work, but now I'm having people complain that they can't log out at all, despite the fact that I can't duplicate the problem. The code being used has been used effectively for 4 years, so I'm thinking that it could be the issue. Can I not have two set cookie commands on one page? Perhaps there's a better way to accomplish what I'm trying to do. Any ideas? ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
