server log file issue

texte = Maybe a bit off-topic, but this is my only list of web developers and there are smart people here. My server log files are not capturing the authuser. Linux, Apache. This is the line in the config file: LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %s %b \"%{Referer}i\" \"%{User-agent}i\"" combined CustomLog /path/to/file.log combined Users are given the browser's authentication box after webcat sends an [authenticate realm] command. This worked fine for years on WebStar and iTools/Apache (OSX), where the log files were fine. Moved to Linux, and the username is being ignored and displayed with a dash, as if no value. Everything else is shown as expected.
