texte = Just a thought on the CAPTCHA code--I had been looking around a few monthsback for something like this, whether in WebDNA or not, and I discovered avery simple approach that someone had taken whereby they simply added afield to their form, set the style of the field to hidden so it was not seenby anyone but the spambots (since they generally don't "understand" CSS),and will invariably enter some value into the field. Then, just check to see if that field contains anything, and if it does youknow it was filled in by the spambot so you can reject it. So far this hasworked well for me although there may be something I am overlooking or maybeall the spambots that have hit my sites have been of subpar intelligence.Anyone care to weigh in on that as to why it wouldn't work in somesituations?--** NOTE NEW VOICE NUMBER **Gil Poulsen, Mac Wirehead************************AltiM@c Consulting 23 Marco Polo CourtFranklin Park, NJ 08823-1703Voice: 609-359-0103http://altimac.com************************-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
