texte = No offense to you or any other Mac server users, but when a company like WSC has "only so much" money to work with it becomes critically important that they apply those limited funds where they will generate maximum revenue ASAP. After WSC is making money hand over fist on their future Linux software sales they can easily use some of that excess cash to splurge on developing software for less popular server OS's -- such as OSX and Windows for example. Until then I believe they are doing exactly what they need to do. I used to be a die-hard Mac guy, too. Do many/any of you remember that far back? We're talking the mid/late 1990's! :) If I were still a dedicated Mac fanatic like I was back then, I might feel slighted by WSC's decision to put off the OSX version until later. Nevertheless this is a very wise business decision for WSC and I applaud them for it. WSC's first priority should always be to focus on the software that sells in their largest potential market. In this day and age that market runs Linux servers. > You almost answered my question here... > > Seems like we are now second priority. > > /Palle > > On 26/02/2013, at 17.30, Donovan Brooke wrote: > > I should note that WSC will be holding off on a new > > WebDNA Server build for the latest Mac OS X OS, simply > > because WebDNA 6.2 still runs fine on it.
