numero = 18237
interpreted = N
texte = Ok, here I go again, I had just typed a long reply with explainations ofwhat and why we have these set to on our servers... of course I had notsaved it, and Eudora crashed with a type 1 error. So here is a shortversion and I will try once more tomorrow to explain the why's.>>Is the server running with MyopicPlugInMode on or off?>>Myopic is on, we used to be running Tango, which had required it.Unless you must have MyOpic on now, turn it off. I believe you will alsohave to set PathCleanup to T in the WebCat prefs file - if it is notalready. If you do not need it, it does nothing for you but add moreprocessor overhead to each request.>>What is the setting on MaxRequestsPerChild?>>300, which I believe to be the default.The MaxRequests is the one that I bet will actaully have an effect on yourproblem. Lower it to 30. I will explain later - just try it.>>And What is the setting on PITCPOpenTimeout?>>10, also the default.If you are getting [too many tags] errors, or pages that sometimes getserved without all the WEbDNA being processed, try bumping it up - ours isset at 45.Unless you are getting these types of errors, don't worry about changingthe PITCP setting.Let me know if those make any difference.Britt T.--------------------------------------------------------|| Britt@fishingworld.com || Britt@easttexas.com ||--------------------------------------------------------|| World Masters - || P.O.
