The answer as to why we have to do this is a little too bizarre to retell - except that I hope to be able to turn up the complete authorizing scheme at a near date and do not want to redo code.I did, however, receive a few suggestions offline which brought me to a simple solution which lets me still use WebMerchant, and all the native code for converting to authorizing both CC's and PO's; it will resut in almost no recoding, and works very cleanly.Thanks to those who responded.
