If you really want the pages to only go thru the squid cache, then don't suffix-map them to WebCatalog!Also, do some timing tests before you assume that there's something wrong with our caching mechanism. You may find negligible differences. I'm not saying we're a squid killer, but hey, you might be barking up the wrong tree. We have a rather nice smart-cache mechanism that prevents us from hitting the disk as often as some other techniques.
