texte = Did you know that when you want to do a bw or a wo search on a formatted date field and *also* sort the results by date, it is impossible? Or at least my tests seem to indicate that it is impossible ...I was trying to find all records that begin with 07 in the startDate field and contains 2002 in the endDate field. The dates in these two fields are formatted in the standard MM/DD/YYYY format. What I learned is that this search is possible only if I do *NOT* use the sort parameters that define these fields as date fields. Because as soon as I add the startDatetype=date or endDateType=date parameters, the search no longer finds the records that begin with 07 or contain 2002In other words, adding the sort parameters breaks the search. But if I do not add the sort parameters, I cannot sort my results properly. So how can I do the search I want to do while at the same time sort the results the way I want to?Sincerely, Kenneth Grome--------------------------------------------------- WebDNA Professional Training and Development Center 175 J.
