texte = Dylan, The new templates occassionally use some of the new contexts wich generate an error if on a 3.x system. Also, I believe the structure regarding triggers is a bit different but I'm not sure. I tried using new webmerchant templates with my 3.x copy and ran into some problems. You can get it so that it somewhat works but not fully. 3.x still requires a serial number for each store I believe and Smith Micro apparently sells these. It would be nice to have a patch that allows 3.x to run like the nomal product. (unlimited store fronts) They want around $200 for each new license. This is a bit rediculousI think. If anyone has gotten the new templates to work please say so...(off list if you like). The problems here are that gateways have changed... so, since the class files etc.. are encrypted, the only option that I know of is to upgrade.I havn't tried replacing the free download merchant parts into the 3.x globals folder. I don't know if one can update the merchant portion of webcat 3.x... would be nice though. Anyone tried this?DonovanDylan Wood wrote:> Are there any templates on SM ftp? > > On Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at 12:13 PM, sally wrote: > > > List: > > > > I've upgraded my webcat license to 4.5 for webstar V, but am still > > running the production server with webcat 3.0.7/webstar 4.3.
