But not everyone has the time or resources to start from scratch, and customizing them seems difficult if not impossibleThere were considerable samples floating around in older versions, of webdna and some have tried to consolidate those into a neat tidy place to find them, (like webdna.net).Wouldn't webdna grow more and compete more with coldfusion, asp php etc if there was more available to use right from the start? rather than creating a guestbook from scratch as an example . . .I received a message board sent to me from Fishingworld (??? I think ???) from way back that I added to and used as a foundation for what I have now on a live site. The admin may not be as elegant as ThePubb or others, but the front end and useability of the message board was customized exactly to what the client wanted.Having that original message board series of templates aided greatly in what I ultimately used, but not having me start from scratch. Seeing how something else was done or handled made my final version happen quickerNo idea how or where a larger base of templates could or would be acquired, it's just that now a number of people love the intranet set of templates, want to use them in some way, but can't.I myself have looked at the calendar in the intranet version and have wanted to create a webdna version to take the place of an .asp version I use currently on a site, but time isn't on my side, so that waits for another dayJust a few of my observations from the past couple days of posts and past posts.
