texte = They make promises of free bug fixes and additional free features like new SQL tags in a version 5.2 release, then they instead try to sell us the same features for $500. Shame on you, SMSI. Don't worry, I know you have your reasons for acting like this, I just think a little more integrity is in order here, that's all.I love coding webdna but I'll say this again for those who are looking for a change (maybe a software change, maybe not):If you're in a position to get lots of programming jobs, (which means getting a whole lot more work than you can possibly handle yourself) then I want to partner with you ...Just get me the jobs and I'll do all the programing work for you over here in the Philippines with my local Filipino programmers. I'll do any programming you can think of for $10 an hour -- this includes WebDNA, ASP, PHP, mySQL, PERL, and everything else.Or if you don't trust me for hourly work, just give me a price proposal and I'll turn it over to my programmers who will probably accept it if it's reasonable. To be fair I suggest that you propose 1/3 to 1/2 of the price your quoting your customers. This gives you 1/2 to 2/3 of the revenues yourself, without doing any of the programming work.Either way (contract or hourly) you can still get away from your computers more often when my programmers are doing all the work for you ... and if you're not a complete idiot you should be able to double or triple your income -- if you are truly capable of bringing in enough work to keep my programmers busy of course.Of course I know that most of you love webdna programming so much that you'll never give it up!But if anything ever happens that causes you to decide that there's more to life than sitting in front of a computer all the time, and when you're really ready to stop programming and start selling ... well at least you have an overseas colleague and a team of programmers who are ready, willing and able to do more work for you than you can possibly send them.Think about it ... sometimes change is good.:)-- Kenneth GromeWebDNA ProgrammerOutsource Service ProviderPhone: +6332 255-6591-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
