My point is that convertchars is widely used and changing it should not go without testing... now,.. I'm not even sure why I made that remark, because I know Scott is not about to change the engine without testing. Without thinking about it to hard, don't platforms save CR's in different formats? Isn't that why we have issues with sendmail formats when changing platforms? I don't actually see a problem with Ken's change initially but I am not sure about %0D always being the right character to change.
