texte = Very cool. I use CSS for formatting text and the content of table cells all the time (I almost always apply styles to my tags sitewide), but as for layout, tables makes sense to me... I guess this new way would take a little getting used to. I did notice that http://www.csszengarden.com/?cssfile=/156/156.css&page=0 breaks on OSX/IE latest... but other than that they all look pretty good. What about if someone wanted to slicing whereas an image is cut up and put back together in different table cells or how about stretching a 1px background image to fill a page horizontally. Not asking for code or a tutorial (I can teach myself when/if I cross the bridge), but in general, I guess I am asking do you CSS'ers find it easier to work this way rather than with tables? -Dan On Fri, 08 Apr 2005 09:24:47 -0700 Scott Brown wrote: > I would highly recommend checking out www.csszengarden.com for examples of good CSS layout. >Simply put, it is one html templated page that different designers have taken and styled >differently using CSS.
