This list has never been moderated, and I'd like to keep it that way. But, Patrick and Chris are right, this is a sensitive time for WebDNA. It's a rare plant that needs a lot of care, water, and sunlight to thrive again. (kind of reaching ;-), but you get the idea) We are doing just that, and welcome all the positive energy and support you guys/gals may offer. To help us with this, lets consider some things (guidelines if you will): 1.) The product will not go open source. Get used to it. ;-) (we will always keep WebDNA very affordable) 2.) The first priorities are as I stated in an earlier post. Ideas are great, but it doesn't help any of our goals when people become publicly pushy and/or when WebDNA or WSC is cast in a negative light. I know many of you are just being passionate about where you would like to see WebDNA go. But, there is a line (which can be determined from these guidelines). If you think your post passes this line, then send it directly to us rather than the list. We will listen. 3.) This list is first and foremost a support tech forum. We sure don't want to eliminate off-topic moments, but we ask that you don't make a habbit of complaining, and posting negative stuff (technical descriptive) ;-). Now, we are not going to start booting people for little comments here and there that test these "guidelines".. but lets put it this way, if we think a poster is continually detrimental to WebDNA or WSC, we will take action. This is not only to protect our livelyhood (because we are invested into this product), but to protect the success of the product as well. Sincerely, Donovan -- Donovan D.
