[note:] at the time we didn't have a sandbox set up either. after checking these two boxes and a reboot of the server, all was fine for us. then, i create a second sandbox and didn't have the two checkboxes checked. the server ran fine like this for months, but then one day for no apparent reason webcat began hogging 100% of CPU. i made THAT one simple change and haven't had a problem since. --rupert On Nov 3, 2008, at 12:33 PM, Tony Miller wrote: > Anyone know what would cause WebCatalog 6.0a to take 80-90% of the > processor and bog the whole machine down to almost stopped? > > Does it just take the remaining processor available or something? > It is constantly hogging the processor. > > Do I have a security breach or is this normal? > > Thanks > > Tony Miller > tmiller@thehawkeye.com > > > > --------------------------------------------------------- > This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to > the mailing list . > To unsubscribe, E-mail to: > archives: http://mail.webdna.us/list/talk@webdna.us > old archives: http://dev.webdna.us/TalkListArchive/ > Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
