I create the file directly from our WebDNA server (that is on a Linux box) using writefile, download that file using an FTP program, then open that raw file in a text editor Notepad or Notepad++. Everything is in one continuous line in Notepad. I'm assuming this is because Windows wants a CRLF. Notepad++ shows the CRs and LFs, if present, at the end of the line. When this "raw" file is opened up in Notepad++, it only shows an LF. If I open up that same "raw" file in a Hex Editor, it only shows 0A, which is LF in hex.
