texte = I am looking at all of my computer equipment and thinking that I can build myself a web server, throw linux on it, and get a static IP, and I will be all set to run my own web server on my home DSL account. Does anyone have any recommendation, or reasons why I should look at a hosted option, instead? I am trying to get away from GoDaddy, and switch back to WebDNA from PHP, but hosting cost seems to be what kills me every time. So, Recommendations? Computer speed? Memory, etc. Linux Version?
