I came across this issue a while backwith the limit of a webDNA text variable name (not value). Using trial an=d error, I discovered the maximum was 49 chars.Perhaps you can perform some of your own trial and error and let us know =what you find out for form variable names. Ofcourse, this does not necessarily confirm what the w3 standard definition= is. Just try it in as many browsers as youcan. It seems that limits go up rather than down, so I'd say you'd be saf=e that if it works today, it will worktomorrow, next week, next year...
