I'll bet that when Chris gets the append code fixed -- so that it no longer writes to disk every time -- we will see some significant performance increases in our append speeds. Chris, one question: Why do you think your tests of v7.0 FastCGI with your 'accelerator' are only 1/2 to 1/3 as fast as my tests using v6.2?
